    Introduced in the Senate on April 2, 2009, to provide for the funding and operation of the college student aid commission, the department for the blind, the department of education, and the state board of regents and related matters

    The vote was 31 in favor, 18 opposed and 1 not voting

    I see we still are far from the perfect educational system and I don't see how these bills will make a difference. We need more drastic changes and for that we need full support. Student funding? I needed that back in my time but I couldn't benefit from it just because the system wasn't perfect. As a result I got myself an online degree to be to keep a job and support myself during study years.
